Pleased with the response he’d received he grinned at Louis then, taking his hand and going to lead him inside. “Mhmm, I figured you have the one at home, but that’s your personal library. Why not share your loves with all of New Orleans, hm? You could run it, and hire a few to help you of course. I thought it’d be nice for you.”
“I…I don’t know what to say, Lestat…it’s incredible.” Licking his lips, he looked around for a moment, allowing the other to lead him in, with another stunned shake of his head. “It’s really … mine?”
“Mmm… non. Non, not just yet mon cher,” Lestat said as he walked him a bit closer to their destination. Setting Louis just in front of the large building. “And… now.”
He stared, dumbstruck for a few moments, opening and closing his mouth before finally, emerald eyes blinked, stunned.

He tugged her gently along the hallway, stopping when they reached Claudia’s room. Running his hands through his unkempt hair, he took a seat on the bed, and motioned for her to do the same.
